So one day Jon and his girlfriend, Fizz, bring Gardfield and Oldie to a clinic as they are going for a HOWLIDAY. Gardfield hates it. He escapes and goes to the queen's castle holding a mitten. But the queen's dog also has a mitten too! When Jon finds out, he goes there to take Gardfield back, but just to spend the whole day searching for his mitten.
